Chinese Qing Dynasty
jadeite jade Pixiu hand-piece. It was bought 30 years ago in south China.  This pieces of carved jadeite pixiu is from a piece of old river mine as saw from its brown color skin. It has multi-colors of white-grey, pure green and brown. Pixiu was carved siting on an ancient money coin and it has a pure green belt (not crack) happened on its waist.
Pixiu (貔貅 in Chinese), or Brave Troops, is a the ancient Chinese mythical wild animal from records and folk myths and legends of a ferocious poet. It has the mouth but no the anus, so it only can enter and swallow the world without financial leakage to absorb the meaning of the Quartet of wealth (only win and no loss), but also out of evil, bring good luck. It is one of the five great and powerful animals in Chinese legends (in addition to the dragon, phoenix, turtle, unicorn), known as Lucky animal.
