These Bates boots feature ICS+ Adjustable Comfort Technology an advanced comfort technology that allows you to choose the setting that's right for you. This technology features a midsole containing a lightweight, dual-pressure, nitrogen-injected ICS disc. The disc of these men's boots can be rotated among four zones to control firmness, cushion, and inward and outward stability. It also has the added benefit of a minimal heel drop to reduce foot fatigue.
Made with a full-grain leather and a nylon upper, these boots provide long-lasting comfort. Full-grain leather is extremely durable and is designed for heavy loads and hard terrain. As a result, these military boots will hold up against everyday wear and tear and are built to last. The addition of nylon provides extra strength and durability. Nylon is abrasion-resistant, provides maximum ventilation, and keeps these slip-resistant boots relatively lightweight.
A cushioned EVA midsole provides even more comfort when you wear these military boots. EVA is a durable plastic foam material that's soft, flexible, and absorbs more force. The material is also particularly lightweight, so it won't weigh down this men's footwear.
To keep you steady on your feet, the rubber outsole of these Bates boots is slip-resistant to provide better traction on wet surfaces. Rubber has superior slip-, puncture- and cut-resistance compared to PVC and will resist bases, acids, alcohols and diluted water solutions of most chemicals.
