Danner Tachyon 8" Gore-Tex Tactical Boot (50122) Men's 13D

Description

Lightest waterproof tactical boot I ever wore. Kept feet dry in 6" of water. Minimalistic feel. I could feel the ground under my feet allowing me to move quicker through muddy or uneven terrain.
I usually wear a 13 Wide. This boot fit great with a thicker after market insole. So they do run a little big.
I just couldn't get used to the flex point on top of my foot. Maybe more break-in time was needed.

HOW IT FITS
The DLE-01 last was designed to be an extension of the foot with superior forefoot and heel capture, stability and a more anatomical shape for comfort. The additional space in the toe box allows the foot to naturally react when bearing a heavy load or changing directions laterally in high intensity environments.
