You have all seen the Bungee Cords that are used to secure the mower deck guard/chute in the raised position...right???
This product replaces the unsafe use of the Bungee Cord.  In fact, it allows the operator to have full control over the deck guard without having to stop or dismount.  Use this feature for easily navigating your yard, through fences, onto trailers or truck beds, into sheds, through tight spaces, and switch-side edging!

The linkage and attachment mechanism, coupled with the free-rotational clip systems, allow for placement to suit your riding style.
RESPONSE TO FEEDBACK:
All parts are manufactured in Winchester Virginia.  The chain is light and formulated to have a high-
tensile
strength but will
disintegrate
if caught in the blades.  The attachments have screw-ports built in...use these to affix the deck guard attachment or mower mount in a more
permanent
fashion.  The safety snap clip works under normal conditions of use.  If you are mowing at high speeds or bumpy terrain, you can swap out the safety snap clip with an inverted snap clip from LINXGUARD.com.  Or, you can simply use a zip tie to ajoin the two pieces.  NOTE: this dissengages the safety feature.  LINXGUARD is not responsible for any damages incurred while not following the standard use of the product outlined in the operator instructions supplied.
The images above and below depict the simple process used to install LINXGUARD

on your riding mower.  Note that specially designed screw-ports  (Parts 1 and 5) have been included into the design to allow for a semi-permanent attachment to your mower.  Standard wood and/or metal screws can be used.  The screw port in the Guard Clamp (1) is self-tapping and allows attachment to the deck guard while in place.

The
SAFETY SNAP
Break-Away Clip
provides a mechanism of action in which the linkage assembly is broken in the event of snagging or entanglement.
The Break-Away clip can then be reconnected, returning the linkage assembly back to its original operating position.
This feature prevents unwanted snagging or entanglement in the linkage assembly and provides a safe method of returning the guard to its original position upon disengagement.
