Phil Wood bottom bracket, Aluminum housing, stainless steel spindle, JIS (Shimano) taper, 108mm length, 208 gm. Symmetrical spacing.
This is New Old Stock from a closed bike shop.
PHIL WOOD bottom brackets are wonderful, long-lasting, historical, even legendary. Sealed cartridge bearings, laterally adjustable, and if and when yours craps out, you can send it back to Phil for a fast and friendly overhaul.
To install or remove, you need the Phil retaining rings (usually British, which fits American and Japanese and Taiwanese and Chinese bikes) and a special Phil BB Tool.
