Distributor Description:

Instructions for Use
1.
Insert Black cord into the notch under red marker to hold wind fin in upright position.
2.
Remove anchor and rope from inside unit to load fertilizer—recommend using Diammonium Phosphate (DAP) 18-46-0
3.
Load distributor at a load of 5 pounds per acre—Max Load of 1 distributor is 25 pounds
Note:
One distributor can fertilize a pond up to 5 acres in size.

Before each application, check water quality with a Secchi disk. The Sechhi Disk should fade out at 18 to 24 inches deep when you have achieved optimum water transparency.

Place distributor in an area where the water is about 4 to 6 feet deep furthest away from the spillway for optimal use.

Normal distribution of fertilizer takes about 7 to 10 days.
7.
Always empty out leftover contents prior to reloading distributor for next application.
8.
Apply fertilizer in 14 to 21 day intervals until water takes on a green color.
9.
When desired color is obtained you can place your fertilization schedule on a 30 day interval.
10.
Continue to use fertilizer until fall (October) when the water temperature cools to 60 degrees F.
11.
Resume fertilization in the spring around the beginning of April when the temperature rises above 60 degrees F.
